Last week saw the culmination of the Year 6 exhibition process with an amazing opening ceremony that highlighted all the drama and musical skills that the Year 6 students have acquired over their time in the primary school. With flashing light effects and glowing arm bands, they impressed their peers and students from other schools with their creative abilities as well as the wealth of knowledge that they have gained over the course of the last 8 weeks.
After the excitement of the opening ceremony, it was time to get down to the serious business of explaining all the hard work that the Year 6 students have undertaken over the last 8 weeks. For 2 days the students manned their stalls and showed, explained, and demonstrated all their learning to students from 5 years old to 18 years old through games, conversations, interactive exhibits, film and video and experiments. Showcasing to both students as well as teachers, parents and adult visitors from our community. All showing what amazing, versatile, and eloquent communicators they are.
