Year 3 Recorder Session

The Creative Arts, music, drama and visual arts are a very important part of our curriculum here at Uplands Primary School. Our students of all ages have exposure to many types of instruments through their primary years. Flutes, clarinets, ukuleles and saxophones are among just some of the instruments that our primary students have the opportunity to explore. In the pictures featured in this post our Primary Creative Arts teacher is sharing her love of music with our Year 3 students, the students are learning to play the recorder using technology to enhance their learning. For some students, it is their first chance to play a musical instrument and we hope that this opportunity is something that will ignite the passion for music which is in all of us. At Uplands Primary we believe in the Creative Arts and the important role that it plays in the holistic education that we offer all our primary students.
